Hardwood Sales Ltd is committed to control supplies of their North American & European hardwoods to exclude wood harvested from the following sources;
- Forest areas where traditional or civil rights are violated
- Uncertified forest areas with high conservation values
- Genetically modified trees
- Forest areas which have been illegally harvested
- Natural forests cleared for plantation or other use
